Whether you want to pack on that gorgeous blue, or swipe on a beautiful duochrome, it’s so easy to pull off these shades without too much of a fuss. The Subliminal, because it has one of the most wearable blue color schemes I’ve encountered. Now just imagine how much you can amplify them using a primer or glitter glue!ĪAH that’s such a difficult question haha! I think it really depends on what color story you are going for, but if I had to pick, I can narrow it down to two: Mothership I: Subliminal and Mothership V: Bronze Seduction. I wanted to showcase just how reflective these shadows are without the assistance of an adhesive. As I mentioned, these swatches were done using no primer. I've found that still images don't accurately display the true depth and dimension of these shadows, so I figured I'd take videos instead in direct sunlight. Personally, yes these palettes are worth it for me, and one of those factors is these special shades! I see many people asking if these palettes are worth it, and I honestly think that answer differs from person to person depending on various factors. ![]() ![]() They really are unlike any other shadows I possess in my collection, and I do own quite a few other luxury brands. One major reason I purchase these palettes is due to these beautiful special shades. So.I was getting bored out of my mind, and I decided to swatch all the "special shades" in Pat Mcgrath's Mothership palettes (the four shades on the right), as well as her Blitz Astral Quads. *Videos taken in direct sunlight, around two swipes using fingers, no primer, warm neutral skin tone (NC30-37)
